The Citizens' Review Committee would like to hear from the community members of Lancaster County. If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding facilities in Lancaster County School District to be considered by the Citizens' Review Committee, comments must be made in writing. This format will allow for two-way communication between you and the Citizens' Review Committee.

Huge congratulations to Tinsley Oliver and Addyson Thielk for finishing in the TOP TEN IN THE NATION in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at the HOSA International Leadership Conference. They competed in a rigorous three-part event - a written test, a challenge with 43 other teams, and an out-of-hospital treatment scenario - and came out on top! Both students already hold their National Registry and South Carolina EMT certifications. ✅Tinsley has been hired by Lancaster County EMS. ✅Addy plans to attend college this fall, and hopes to continue using her EMT skills during this time. Exciting news!!!!! We had 13 out of 13 cosmetology students pass the State Cosmetology Practical License Exam! We are so proud of these students and Mrs. King! Congratulations!

Last night was all about our students! Awards included Spirit of the Phoenix, student of the year in each class, completers in all 17 pathways, and work-based learning. Congratulations to all who were recognized for their outstanding work and achievements! We are proud of each of you! The Spirit of the Phoenix award is given to a student who has excelled in one or more of the following areas: academics, work ethic, or overall citizenship. In most instances this student is also a completer, which means they have successfully completed all requirements for the program. Students in Ms. Baker's Advertising classes had the opportunity to visit Scott Clark Toyota on Tuesday May 13. They took a tour of the dealership and learned how the different departments work together to provide excellent customer service and a great selection of vehicles to their customers. The emphasis was on their marketing department as well as the SCALE Program they offer to high school students. SCALE is an internship program for juniors and seniors. It is marketing and graphic design based. The students finished the visit with a Chick-fil-a lunch provided by Scott Clark Toyota!
