Huge congratulations to Tinsley Oliver and Addyson Thielk for finishing in the TOP TEN IN THE NATION in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at the HOSA International Leadership Conference.
They competed in a rigorous three-part event - a written test, a challenge with 43 other teams, and an out-of-hospital treatment scenario - and came out on top!
Both students already hold their National Registry and South Carolina EMT certifications.
✅Tinsley has been hired by Lancaster County EMS.
✅Addy plans to attend college this fall, and hopes to continue using her EMT skills during this time.
We're incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication, and bright futures in healthcare!

Students in Ms. Baker's Advertising classes had the opportunity to visit Scott Clark Toyota on Tuesday May 13. They took a tour of the dealership and learned how the different departments work together to provide excellent customer service and a great selection of vehicles to their customers. The emphasis was on their marketing department as well as the SCALE Program they offer to high school students. SCALE is an internship program for juniors and seniors. It is marketing and graphic design based. The students finished the visit with a Chick-fil-a lunch provided by Scott Clark Toyota!
