🚓 Law Enforcement Services students recently welcomed Lancaster City Police Department Public Information Officer Mrs. Tindal, along with SGT Miller and CPL Howze. They spoke with students about the duties and responsibilities of police officers, how to grow and advance in the profession, and the pros and cons of a first responder career.
Students also enjoyed a hands-on demonstration of magnetic fingerprinting and learned key steps for conducting a proper traffic stop. Mr. Heyward presented each officer in attendance with an LCSD Career Center Law Enforcement Program Coin of Excellence in appreciation of their advocacy and dedication to our students. 🪙

This February the Lancaster County Career Center proudly celebrates Black History Month by honoring the achievements, resilience, and contributions of African Americans who helped shape our communities, industries and future.
Our students and staff continue that legacy every day through learning, leadership and career readiness. Together, we celebrate the past while building opportunities for tomorrow.

👏 The Ambush Club and Law Enforcement SkillsUSA Team members volunteered their time after school recently to support campus beautification around the LCSD Career Center. They showed true ownership in their school and a joyful spirit throughout the work. It was a great day to be a Phoenix. We are so proud of our young people! 🔥
