👮The LCSD Career Center Law Enforcement Program Manager, Mr. Heyward, is truly grateful to the Rock Hill Police Department for the invitation to serve as a presenter at the 1st Annual South Carolina Law Enforcement Community Training Summit. It was an outstanding opportunity to connect with professionals from across the region, build meaningful partnerships, and bring valuable resources back to benefit our students. Thank you for an incredible event, we are already looking forward to next year! 👏🚔

Make plans to attend now! See you on May 2!

🚔 The Ambush Club’s March presentation was led by Sergeant Matthew Beach of the Rock Hill Police Department’s Public Integrity Unit.
During his presentation, SGT Beach shared valuable insight with our mentees on the importance of understanding their ultimate goals in life and how every decision they make should help move them closer to those goals. He also spoke about self-motivation, maintaining high expectations for yourself, building strong employment skills, the importance of community involvement, and why integrity is a must-have quality in both life and leadership.
Thank you, SGT Beach, for taking the time to invest in the young men of the Ambush Club and for sharing your wisdom, encouragement, and real-world perspective with our students. Your words made a meaningful impact! 🚨

Our Teacher Cadets have been loving their time in field experience! 🍎✨
Jacqueline led an engaging ELA lesson on contractions with 1st graders at North Elementary, which is such a fun way to build foundational skills! 📚
Alexis has been working with small groups, helping students cut and paste new vocabulary while building their understanding in a hands-on way. ✂️📝
Maddie has been working with small groups, helping students review counting and writing numbers. 🔢
We are so proud of the impact these future educators are already making in the classroom! 💙

Teacher Cadets had an AMAZING day at Winthrop University!
We kicked things off with an inspiring keynote speaker, South Carolina Teacher of the Year, Corey Bedenbaugh. From there, cadets jumped into fun icebreakers, connected through rotation stations with the Winthrop Teaching Fellows, and wrapped up with a campus scavenger hunt and lunch.
It was a day full of learning, networking, and building connections with fellow cadets. We are so proud of these future educators! 🍎✨
